14.03.2018 – PRESS RELEASE

In the recent period, Komercijalna Banka AD Skopje and Stopanska Banka AD Skopje as secured creditors of “FENI Industri” Kavadarci, have undertaken many activities in order to reactivate the production process of the company, at any time taking into consideration that it is of strategic importance for the Republic of Macedonia, as well as for wider public interest, for the employees and their families. We think that this objective has been successfully achieved and there is one step left - to choose the most serious investor that will offer a long-term perspective for the company.

During the whole period, while making efforts to find the most appropriate investor acceptable for all creditors, we talked with many interested entities, and at the end we received offers for purchase of our claims from “FENI Industri” of two interested parties, “GSOL” and “Minstroj”. Both offers were serious, showing devotion and positive intentions to provide better future for “FENI Industri”, including evidence for available funds.

Upon assessment of the offers, the banks decided to choose the offer of “GSOL” as a buyer of our claims. This decision was based on the overall assessment of the submitted offers, terms and conditions for payment of the claims, as well as the expressed devotion of this investor since commencement of the bad period for the company.  The fact that “GSOL” had already paid the outstanding salaries to employees of “FENI Industri was also taken into account, as well as the publicly announced intention to pay the other creditors that have recognized claims in the bankruptcy procedure of “FENI Industri”. Pursuant to the conditions of the offer, the banks are expecting the full realization of the agreement for purchase of their claims to be completed by the end of March 2018.

We would like to express our gratitude to the offerors and to all interested investors for their serious intentions regarding the future of “FENI Industri” Kavadarci, sincerely hoping to have successful mutual cooperation in future projects.
