11.7.2012 – Excursion organized by the Red Cross – Prilep

On 15.06.2012 volunteers of the Youth club of OOCK Prilep together with the protégés and the staff of the Center for children with special needs “Dzunica” visited St. Gjorgjija monastery near the artificial lake in Prilep. They enjoyed the marvelous nature and had the opportunity to make company, talk and enjoy the day. We can conclude from this excursion that there is need of having gatherings like this more often, where close interactions between the children and the volunteers are realized, thus ensuring better socialization of these children.

The excursion is part of the activities of the Local action plan for children with special needs, which is financed by Komercijalna Banka. In this term, a representative of Komercijalna Banka was also present at the gathering, having the opportunity to monitor the event. This is just one of the many activities planned for children with special needs and children from fostering families. The Red Cross continues the realization of numerous activities aimed towards vulnerable groups from the city.
