13.7.2012 – Award for thorough devotion to social responsibility for 2011
Komercijalna Banka AD Skopje won the first prize for thorough devotion to the social responsibility for the third time, awarded to big companies in 2011 by the Center for Institutional Development – CIRa.
In strong competition of the Macedonian big companies Tineks MT, Stopanska Banka AD Skopje and Alkaloid AD Skopje, Komercijalna Banka presented itself with three projects in value of MKD 6.152.611 as follows:
Advancement of relationship with employees – Investing in human resources, sharing expert knowledge through cooperation with universities (internal and external training, professional upgrade in the country and abroad, providing visits to 270 students in the Bank) in value of MKD 5.382.611,50.
Ethics, transparency and ant-corruption – Long-term effects from ethical management of the Bank, transparent operation, as well as proper adherence to all regulations and lawfull operation:
- Donated products – MKD 85.000,00;
- Value of donated hours of employees – 50 employees, 2 hours, value per hour – MKD 305; and
- Training of employees in the domain of ethical. Transparent and anti-corruptive operation
Development of the community – In the course of 2011, integration of certain target groups (women –victims of family violence, children from the street and pensioners from socially jeopardized categories) was priority for the socially responsible activities of the Bank:
- Donation with suitable gifts to women – victims of family violence.
- Donation of computer and office equipment in four centers in Skopje and in sheltering centers for women – victims of family violence in Kochani, Bitola and Ohrid
- Psychological help to women – victims of family violence
- Improved conditions for care and sheltering of old and weak persons
Total amount of the realized projects is MKD 385.000.
The prize Leader of social responsibility in the category of thorough devotion (integrated approach) to social responsibility was awarded to Komercijalna Banka by a jury composed of 5 members representatives from the non-government sector, media and business-sector, as a confirmation of the Bank’s efforts continually made for improvement of the corporate governance, training of employees, developing feeling for solidarity and philanthropy, in cooperation with the community and socially vulnerable groups in the society.
13.05.2013 - Komercijalna Banka is the 9th time award winner from EBRD
At the ceremony, organized by the Trade Finance Forum in Istanbul, representatives of Komercijalna Banka AD Skopje received the award for Support to foreign trade and promotion of international trade.
The prize is awarded annually and is related to the volume and quality of letters of credit and letters of guarantee issued by Komercijalna Banka AD Skopje. Komercijalna Banka AD Skopje is the 9th time winner of this award and is the most active participant in the program of EBRD TFP (Trade Facilitation Programme) for promotion of international trade of the Republic of Macedonia.
13.05.2013 - Komercijalna banka - Winner of Plaque
Komercijalna banka AD Skopje as an authorized participant in the Macedonian securities market, is pleased to announce that during the “Annual conference of the Macedonian securities market 2013”, organized by the Macedonian Stock Exchange, Central Securities Depository and the Securities Exchange Commission of the Republic of Macedonia was awarded the Plaque for achieving first place in turnover and number of transactions carried out in 2012.
