Komercijalna banka AD Skopje - Winner of Plaque
Komercijalna banka AD Skopje as an authorized participant in the Macedonian securities market, is pleased to announce that during the “Annual conference of the Macedonian securities market 2013”, organized by the Macedonian Stock Exchange, Central Securities Depository and the Securities Exchange Commission of the Republic of Macedonia was awarded the Plaque for achieving first place in turnover and number of transactions carried out in 2012.
Best Foreign Exchange Bank
The editors of Global Finance Magazine in cooperation with industry analysts, corporate executives and technology experts, have selected the best foreign exchange banks and providers in the world.
Global Finance Magazine awarded Komercijalna Banka AD Skopje for the Best Foreign Exchange Bank in Macedonia in 2013.
The selection of the Best Foreign Exchange banks and providers is made according to the criteria transaction size, market share, scope of global coverage, customer service, competitive pricing and innovative technologies.
Deutsche Bank AG
As a recognition for excellent quality of its international payment operation, this year, Komercijalna Banka AD Skopje is again the winner of the award: Deutsche Bank’s 2010 Straight – Through Processing (STP) Excellence Award. This award is especially important, since the straight-through processing of payments significantly decreases the costs of the global transactional banking nowadays. In its notification, Deutsche Bank, which is the global leader in this area, emphasizes the successfulness of the team of Komercijalna Banka in charge of this issue reaching an extraordinary high STP rate of 99.74%.
By this award, Komercijalna Banka AD Skopje once again confirmed its role as a leader in the banking sector, which follows and implements the latest banking trends and technologies.
Global Finance
Ten years in a row (2004, 2005, 2006, 2007, 2008, 2009, 2010, 2011, 2012 and 2013), the Global Finance magazine announced the Komercijalna Banka AD Skopje the best bank in Macedonia.
The editors of the magazine, in cooperation with industry analysts, corporate executives and banking consultants, selected the best emerging market banks in Central and Eastern Europe, under the following criteria: growth in assets, profitability, strategic relationships, customer service, competitive pricing and innovative products.
The Global Finance magazine has 50.000 subscribers and more than 284.000 readers in more than 158 countries throughout the world. This audience includes chairmen of board of directors, chief executive officials and chief financial officials of leading global companies and financial institutions.
The Banker
Komercijalna Banka AD Skopje is for the seventh time winner of the award “Bank of the year”, which every year awards renowned professional magazine "The Banker", published by Group Financial Times.
Finance Central Europe
The magazine "Finance Central Europe" in 2007 declared Komercijalna Banka AD Skopje for the best bank in Macedonia according to the strength of assets, return on equity (ROE) and gross profit.
Finance Central Europe is the first specialized magazine for the markets of Central and Eastern Europe, with a circulation of 43,000 copies. The ranking of the banks was made by eminent analysts based on the audited financial statements and additional information.
European Bank for Reconstruction and Development
Once again, Komercijalna Banka AD Skopje has been pronounced as the most active participant in the EBRD’s Trade Facilitation Program. Thus, the Bank is awarded the “Most active issuing bank in FYR Macedonia in 2009”. Komercijalna Banka has been awarded this and other awards by EBRD for several times. Last year, Komercijlana Banka was the most active bank in the Republic of Macedonia by the number of Letters of Credit opened and Letters of Guarantee issued within the TFP. Compared to all banks participating in this program, out of 29 countries, Komercijalna Banka was ranked on the 5th place (following the most active banks from Russia, Georgia, Ukraine, Kazakhstan). Once again, this award certifies the Bank’s success in providing support to its clients in the domain of international trade financing.
Deutsche Bank AG
Acknowledging the exceptional quality in the domain of international payment operations, Komercijalna Banka AD Skopje is awarded Deutsche Bank’s 2009 Straight – Through Processing (STP) Excellence Award. This award is even more significant having in mind the important role of the straight-through processing (STP) in decreasing the global transaction banking costs. The announcement of Deutsche Bank AG, being the global leader in this sphere, points out the success of Komercijalna Banka’s team and the high STP rate of 99.5%. This award confirms the leading position of Komercijalna Banka AD Skopje in following and implementing the latest trends and technologies in banking.
Award for integrated approach in social responsibility
Komercijalna Banka AD Skopje was given the award for integrated approach to the corporate social responsibility for big enterprise in 2009, in the nomination organized by the Center for Institutional Development (CIRa).
This award is confirmation of the continuous efforts made by the Bank for improvement of corporate management, training of employees, developing awareness for solidarity and philanthropy in cooperation with the community and socially vulnerable groups.
As a socially responsible company, we always work and shall work in terms of improving the quality of life in the society for all members of the society by sharing the values and trust with our clients, employees, shareholders and partners”.
Macedonian stock exchange
Komercijalna Banka AD Skopje is awarded with the “Kristalno dzvono” (“Cristal bell”) prize for most transparent company listed on the Macedonian Stock Exchange for 2009.
The election was made by the Election Commission, comprised by representatives of the Macedonian Stock Exchange and its Listing Committee, institutional investors, brokers and representatives of the media.
As one of the Stock Exchange’s most valuable members since it’s foundation in 1995, Komercijalna Banka AD Skopje has one of the most traded stocks, both in number and volume of realized transactions. This kind of interest for the Bank’s stocks is due to the leading position in the banking sector in the Republic of Macedonia, but is also a result of the determination for fully transparent informing of the investors, for which we are being honored today.
