25.09.2019 – New promotion period for the consumption loans in the amount up to EUR 30,000

Komercijalna Banka has prolonged the promotion period until 31.10.2019 for the most favorable cash loan with EUR clause in the amount up to EUR 30,000, which is offered with a repayment period of 120 months. For the clients receiving their salaries through the Bank, the loans shall be approved with attractive interest rates of 4.9% fixed for the first two years and 5.9% variable, annual, for the rest of the repayment period.

23.07.2021 - The payment of July pensions at Komercijalna Banka starts on 27.07.2021

Starting from 27.07.2021 (Tuesday), Komercijalna Banka shall realize early payment of pensions. The pensioners – holders of an active debit card shall have their pensions available on their accounts as of Tuesday (27.07.2021) and can withdraw their funds at any Bank’s ATM or use them for cashless payments in trade.


The payment of pensions to pensioners who do not use payment cards shall be organized in four groups, depending on the pension amount, as follows:


  • Tuesday, 27.07.2021 – pensions up to MKD 11,000
  • Wednesday, 28.07.2021 – pensions from MKD 11,001 to MKD 14,000
  • Thursday, 29.07.2021 - pensions from MKD 14,001 to MKD 18,000
  • Friday, 30.07.2021 – pensions over MKD 18,000


In order to reduce the queues and to protect the health of all users of banking services from the Coronavirus, we appeal to our clients to follow the indicated schedule, wear a protective face mask, scarf or shawl, keep the prescribed minimum distance and have mandatory hand disinfection when visiting the Bank’s city-branches and branches.

22.07.2021 – Komercijalna Banka ranked on two first places in the ranking of Finance Central Europe magazine

The operative results achieved made Komercijalna Banka to be ranked on two first places at the national level, in the ranking made by Finance Central Europe magazine. Traditionally, this ranking includes the top 100 banks in Southeast Europe.


Komercijalna Banka is ranked first in Macedonia according to the size of assets and the rate of return on capital.


The special 22 annual edition of Finance Central Europe magazine will be published in October this year, when the list of the best banks in Southeast Europe will be published, ranked by size of assets, capital, pre-tax profit, ROA and ROE. The magazine publishes a general ranking at the level of Southeast Europe, and also ranks the best banks in each of the 13 countries covered by the analysis - Albania, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Bulgaria, Croatia, Greece, Kosovo, North Macedonia, Moldova, Montenegro, Romania, Serbia, Slovenia and Turkey.

14.07.2021 - Komercijalna Banka sponsor of the manifestation “Galichka svadba”




Komercijalna Banka AD Skopje this year once again is sponsor of the manifestation “Galichka svadba” (Galichnik Wedding Festival), which is traditionally held around the religious holiday Petrovden. This year it will be held from July 16 to 18 in Galichnik, and the event will be harmonized with the Covid-protocols for organizing cultural events.


"Galichnik Wedding" is an internationally established cultural event. The New York Times listed it among the nine must-attend European festivals in 2018, and National Geographic magazine described it as the most traditional wedding festival in Europe.


The support for "Galichnik Wedding" is only part of the overall support given by the Bank of Culture and the unique values ​​in the domestic cultural creation, which contributes to raising the level of cultural living in our society.


07.07.2021 – EBRD award for “Most Active Issuing Bank in 2020 in North Macedonia“


European Bank for Reconstruction and Development awarded Komercijalna Banka AD Skopje for being the „Most Active Issuing Bank in 2020 in North Macedonia“ for the seventeenth time. Only Komercijalna Banka AD Skopje has been awarded by EBRD as the most active bank in the international trade facilitation in the country.

02.07.2021 – Notification

Komercijalna Banka AD Skopje would like to notify its clients that in the period from 05.07.2021 to 29.08.2021, the city-branches “Gjorche Petrov 2”, “Vodnjanska”, “Cheshma”, “QBE” and “Novo Lisiche” will be closed. The city-branches “Gjorche Petrov”, “Buket”, “11 Oktomvri”, “GTC” and “Biser”, located in the vicinity of these closed ones, shall be open and available for the clients.


The clients can also perform their financial transactions through the digital channels, such as Internet Bank, mBanka and KomPay, the wide network of ATMs and the digital branches of Komercijalna Banka, which are available 24/7.

29.06.2021 – 13.4 million Euro financing by Komercijalna Banka for “Bogoslovec” wind farm

Komercijalna Banka AD Skopje will finance the construction of the first private wind farm "Bogoslovec" by 13.4 million Euros. Given the importance of this project for achieving sustainable energy production in the country and for environmental protection, financing was provided by several domestic and international institutions, with Komercijalna Banka providing the greatest financial support among domestic banks.


The 51m-euro syndicated loan, the main holder of which is Erste Group Bank AG, is intended to finance the construction of a 36-megawatt wind farm near the village of Bogoslovec. The holder of the investments is the Macedonian company for energy projects BNB Company DOO, where recently the Investment Fund for Green Growth Fund - GGF (GGF) invested its capital in, established in 2009 by the German Development Bank KfW (KfW Development Bank) and by the European Investment Bank.


It is a privilege for Komercijalna Banka to participate in the financing of the first private investment for construction of a wind power plant in the country. Green energy and providing a healthy environment are the responsibility of all entities separately, but also a common mission to achieve greater goals. Komercijalna Banka continuously provides financial support for "green" projects and implements a series of practices and processes in its operations that prevent environmental pollution.


"Bogoslovec" is expected to start producing electricity in mid-2023 that shall double the existing wind capacity in the country. This plant will prevent the emission of over 80,000 tons of CO2 per year and will make a huge contribution to achieving the goals of the Renewable Energy Action Plan of North Macedonia, which envisage the share of renewable energy in total electricity production by 2024 to reach 50%.

30.06.2021 – Notification on changed interest rates

As of 01.07.2021, Komercijalna Banka shall decrease:


  • fixed and variable interest rates on denar term deposits for legal entities on up to 3, 6 and 9 months terms. Fixed interest rates shall be decreased for 0.05 p.p. and variable interest rates decrease shall be within the range of 0.05 to 0.10 p.p.;
  • fixed and variable interest rates on denar savings deposits for individuals on 24 months term shall be decreased for 0.3 p.p., while on 36 months term for 0.2 p.p.


The change in the interest rate with the contracts concluded with fixed interest rate will be applied after the expiration of the term of the existing contracts.
